Please note: we anticipate a large crowd on Saturday due to Homecoming/Reunion and other game day initiatives. We strongly encourage fans to plan accordingly and arrive early as there will be greater vehicular and pedestrian traffic as the game nears. Parking lots open at 8 a.m. and gates open at 1 p.m.

As a reminder, Vandy United and campus utilities construction projects are ongoing in and around FirstBank Stadium.

Fans should be prepared for road closures, adjustments to stadium entrances and exits, and the associated foot traffic paths to/from the game.

Please note: we anticipate a large crowd at this game. We encourage fans to purchase concessions items upon entry. Each fan can bring in one sealed, unopened, water bottle not to exceed 20 oz. See below for food options as well.

  • Buns on the Run food truck will be set up next to Daddy's Dogs by the Frist Family Gates. As well, a second Daddy's Dogs set up will be behind section R on the east concourse.
  • Chick-fil-A is BACK! A limited number of sandwiches will be available at stands by Section C and Section Q while supplies last.
  • Pre-made wraps, as well as Brisk Lemon and Dole Lemonade will be available behind Section C and Section Q.
  • There will be additional beer kiosks on Natchez Trace as well as by sections V and R. All previous beer locations will continue to be open.

Game day parking lots (Lots 1, 2, 4, 64, and 72B) close at 12:01 a.m. on game day. Only those with appropriate game day tags will be allowed to park in these lots once they open for game day parking. 

Parking lots will open for fans beginning at 8 a.m.

Game day parking is available first come, first served in 25th Avenue and West Garages. These parking garages should be accessed from 24th Avenue and Highland Avenue. Game day parking passes are available for purchase as you enter the garages. Tailgating is not permitted in the garages.

Free parking is available in the Terrace Garage based on availability.

Vandyville tailgating opens four hours prior to kickoff (11 a.m. on Saturday).

On the Dudley Court music stage (at Dudley Court and Natchez Trace intersection) Grace Taylor will be performing from 1-3 p.m.

The Max Nance Kids' Zone is located on the inside of the outdoor track (where it was during the 2021 and 2022 season).

The activities will begin on Saturday at 1 p.m., two hours prior to kickoff.

Enjoy FREE entertainment for all including balloon artist, face painter, inflatables and more! Additionally, your Vanderbilt Women's Basketball team will be in attendance signing autographs and taking photos with fans. Be sure to stop by to see them from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.


Fans can still enjoy the excitement of Star Walk! The team will exit out the back doors of McGugin onto the practice fields 51 minutes (2:10 p.m.) prior to kickoff, and exit through the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. Please note the adjusted time due to senior day activities taking place during pregame.

Fans will have the opportunity to line the practice field to cheer on the team. Due to Max Nance Kids' Zone moving, the gates to the practice fields will open 1 hour prior to kickoff.

WATER: For the 2023 season, fans are able to bring in one unopened, clear, plastic water bottle (not to exceed 20 oz) per person. Water fountains are located throughout FirstBank Stadium for refilling.

As a reminder, all Vanderbilt Athletic events have a clear bag policy in accordance with SEC policy.

Each fan is limited to one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches, or a one-gallon, clear, resealable plastic storage bag. Fans will also be allowed a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Clear backpacks must also meet these regulations.


Tickets to Vanderbilt Athletics home events are delivered digitally. Fans should access their account using their mobile device and add tickets to their mobile wallet. Pre-purchased parking passes are also digital and are loaded into accounts.

We encourage fans to add their tickets to their mobile wallet in advance of game day. Adding tickets to the phone wallet ensures they are on the device and will not needing cell phone connection or wifi to pull up on the phone. You will simply pull up Apple Wallet or Google Play to be scanned at the gate for entry.
